Saturday, April 22nd Erin will be participating in a Poster Presentation at the California Teachers and Educators for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CTEBVI) annual conference. The poster covers her initial research on the development of nonvisual data literacy skills entitled Accessible DataLIT. Erin’s initial findings show that teachers of the visually impaired (TVIs) are central to blind and low vision learners’ development of data literacy skills but that TVIs under recognize their role in the development of this important life skill.
