Thanhbinh is a Bay Area native and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) undergraduate minoring in CalTeach at UC Berkeley. After participating in UCSF AI4ALL and UC Berkeley’s CS Kickstart program as a student, Thanhbinh has returned over the summers to either program to help develop curriculum and teach Python alongside its real-world applications. During the academic year, their commitment to making education accessible continues through teaching programming and mathematics to K-12 students and incoming college freshmen.
Through CalTeach’s Summer Research Institute (SRI) program, Thanhbinh joined the CoRE Lab as an undergraduate student researcher. Under the lab’s mentorship, they contributed to accessible STEM curriculum design and developed a strong research interest in human-computer interaction (HCI) and AI-driven healthcare.
