Syncretic Data Storytelling

Our latest paper from the Writing Data Stories project has just been published in Cognition and Instruction. In this paper, we challenge static notions of data “relevance,” instead exploring ways to help students build relationships to datasets that they may not initially perceive as related to their lives or interests.
